You Can Find More Than Insurance Leads Online

Insurance leads are probably the most popular on the Internet at the moment, and so the most widely advertised. Because of this, many people have made the mistake of thinking that those are the only telemarketing lists you can buy. This just isn’t true, and as a matter of fact you can find anything from auto to magazine leads on the Internet. All it takes is a little thought and some knowledge of what to look for. Try this: go to your favorite search engine, and do a search for credit repair travel leads. This is a broad enough search term that it will trigger a large number of results for websites that sell various leads online. If you would rather look for some specific, you can search for your own industry and genre without too much trouble. Once you have managed to do this, you will see a few things on most sites. First. they tend to cover most categories on each website. Second, they offer hard copy lists that have been handwritten before minimal distribution. This means that only one person will be able to buy each list, thereby eliminating crossover, which is a common problem in phone sales. While it may seem like a silly idea to pay for lists you would normally get for free from work, these are not your average lists. They are filtered in to genres, comes from top of the line marketing data, and are never sold to more than one person. These leads are you best chance of increasing sales.

Understanding the 401(k)

Planning for retirement is an important part of each and every person’s lifetime financial planning. There are any number of options, and combinations of options, which responsible individuals consider when thinking about the future. One of these options, which is broadly available through a large percentage of employers in the United States, is contributing to a 401(k) plan.

401(k) plans are so called because these accounts are governed by IRS tax code 401(k). The IRS tax codes allow for income, under certain qualifying circumstances, to be tax-deferred until use. This means that the contributions made to a 401(k) fund are not taxed until retirement (or until the money is withdrawn; while this can be done before retirement age there are heavy penalties applicable). Employees who participate in a 401(k) designate a portion of their salary to be deposited in the fund before income taxes on it are assessed.

Sometimes employers may offer an additional contribution to the fund. These contributions may be calculated by percentage of participants’ salary or matching participant contributions, or through a profit sharing formula. Employers who contribute to participants’ retirement savings offer prospective employees a valuable incentive to join their company, and create a sense of loyalty in current employees.

Shaving Tips for Bare Summer Skin

It’s the time of year to show off beautiful bare legs in shorts and short skirts. Part of what makes bare skin beautiful is its silky smoothness and your shaving habits can be either a strength or a weakness when it comes to this factor.

The cardinal rule of shaving is to only apply your razor to skin that is already soft and wet. Shaving dry legs will only lead to nicks and cuts, or even razor burn. Also, clean the razor between strokes. Exfoliating is a bonus that comes with shaving, but blades clogged with dead skin do not make for a smooth shave, and can also lend themselves to slips that result in nicking your skin. In fact, it’s a good idea to pre-exfoliate—while the razor will still remove dead skin, this will make your shave closer and more comfortable. Exfoliating regularly will also reduce the chance of ingrown hairs.

You don’t need to use a new blade for every shave unless your hair is particularly coarse, but don’t skimp on replacing blades when they begin to dull either.

And after shaving, always moisturize to attain perfect, glowing skin. Legs can become very dry, and shaving reduces the amounts of natural moisturizing oils the skin produces.

Sweet, Seasonal Cantaloupe

Planning your menu based on seasonally available produce is one of the best ways to assure variety in your year-round diet while enjoying the highest quality fruits and vegetables.  Summer fruits, especially, are best had in season, though imported varieties may be available throughout the year.  Fruit purchased in the dead of winter, however, is usually more expensive and far less delicious.

This is particularly true of one summer’s most popular offerings, cantaloupe. Cantaloupes belong to a family of melons known as musk melons, and originated in Persia.  However, most cantaloupes available to American consumers today come from Arizona, Texas, and California.  July and August are the best times to enjoy this sweet snack.  A perfectly ripened cantaloupe can be as decadent a dessert as any, and is also a health-conscious choice for almost any diet.  A serving of cantaloupe contains 100% of the recommend daily intake of vitamin A, and is an excellent source of B-complex vitamins and fiber, but has only 50 calories.

To choose your cantaloupe for maximum ripeness and taste, look for a khaki colored rind, and a melon that has a somewhat hollow sound when lightly tapped.  For the juiciest melon, allow it to set at room temperature for a day or two before cutting.
